In contrast, commuting by public transit is difficult in this part of Longueuil. Thankfully, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Although there are a limited number of slopes to challenge cyclists, it is difficult to commute by bike in this neighbourhood because this part of the city has a rather poor cycling infrastructure. Walking is also not very practical for home buyers in this part of the city as very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.


There are only a limited number of primary schools in Bienville and therefore they can be an extended walk away. Likewise, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. Additionally, parents may find it difficult for their children to reach daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, a vehicle is typically required in Bienville to access the closest supermarket.
