The best mode of transportation in Thorold is usually driving. On the other hand, Thorold is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the city is connected by about 10 bus lines. This part of the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
