Driving is a great transportation option in Pickering. It is very easy to park. However, commuting by transit can be difficult in Pickering by reason of the infrequent service. This part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area is not very suitable for walking since carrying out day-to-day needs is challenging on foot. Pickering is also not very bicycling-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and there is a significant amount of slopes.
