However, public transit riders may have very limited options in Rural Area by reason of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.
In all cases, a vehicle is needed in Rural Area to access the closest supermarket. Regarding education, this part of Oshawa does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, it can be very hard to reach daycares on foot.
