Transportation
This neighbourhood will draw property owners that use a variety of methods of transportation. It is easy for pedestrians to move around in Village; many day-to-day needs can be met without having to resort to a vehicle. In contrast, biking is difficult in this part of Ajax as there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and Village has a quite bad bicycling infrastructure. This area benefits from a reasonably good public transit system thanks to a few nearby bus lines. Driving is also an excellent transportation option in Village. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from anywhere in this part of the town.
Services
It is sometimes possible for house buyers in Village to reach the nearest supermarket by walking. Nonetheless, it is generally a short distance to the closest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items. Village is a fairly good place in which to eat out, for example on Kingston Road. It is also easy to access a variety of clothing stores on foot. With respect to education, schools and daycares are convenient to reach on foot from most houses for sale in Village.
Character
Most areas in Village are quiet, as the streets tend to be reasonably calm - although that is not the case near Highway 401. Public green spaces aren't well-spread out, which results in them being very hard to reach from the majority of locations within this part of Ajax.
