Nonetheless, this city has a reasonably good cycling infrastructure, and some bicycling-friendly pockets exist. The preferred method of transportation in City of North Vancouver is often driving. It is convenient to access a parking spot, and most properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. However, the public transit network in City of North Vancouver is not particularly practical. Nevertheless, the city is connected by about 10 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away in this city. Moreover, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a small variety of cafes can be found as well. In terms of education, it is a short walk to access schools and daycares from anywhere in this city.
