Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby.

The closest supermarket in this area is typically only a short walk away. Additionally, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, for instance on Preston Avenue. As far as education is concerned, it is a short walk to get to daycares and schools from anywhere in Eastview.

The character of Eastview is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. Green spaces are especially well-situated and there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover, making it easy to access them. This part of Saskatoon is also quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
