This part of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is very car friendly. Accessing a place to park is easy. Walking is not particularly practical for home buyers in Saint-Jean as few common errands can be run on foot.

It is convenient to reach the closest grocery store on foot in Saint-Jean. Boulevard du Séminaire is among the best streets for groceries. There are also over 50 restaurants and coffee shops in this part of the city. As far as education is concerned, families will value that no matter where their property is located in Saint-Jean, primary schools and daycares are close by. In contrast, high schools are not very plentiful and consequently tend to require an extended walk to get to.
Character
Saint-Jean is fairly good for those who prefer quiet areas, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines, Autoroute de la Vallée-des-Forts or the airport (YJN).
