It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, from anywhere in this part of Dorval, and it is very convenient to park. Strathmore also has a good public transit system. It is easy to come across a nearby train station, including the Gare Pine Beach on the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line, from most residences in the neighbourhood. Property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is challenging for people walking to move around in Strathmore because common amenities such as laundromats or barbers can be an occasionally long walk away. Even though the terrain is flat, Strathmore is also not very appropriate for bicycling because the cycling network is quite poor.
