The preferred method to move around in Victoria North is very often driving. Most homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7, and it is very easy to find a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit service in Victoria North is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. Bicycling is sometimes challenging in Victoria North because bicycle riders are faced with a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling network is not especially comprehensive. Nevertheless, some enjoyable areas for bicycling can be found. Walking is also not very practical for residents in Victoria North as many daily needs are occasionally challenging to meet on foot.
Services
There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Kitchener. Furthermore, daycares are not plentiful and accordingly may require a very long walk to get to. With respect to food, accessing the closest grocery store on foot is feasible for some, but not all, home buyers in this part of Kitchener. There are also a few restaurants and coffee shops in this neighbourhood.
Character
There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Victoria North. Getting to green spaces from numerous locations in the neighbourhood, including Stanley Park Optimist Natural Area, is easy since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in. Lastly, this part of the city is relatively calm, as there are very few pedestrians.
