Transportation
The preferred method of transportation in Bayridge is usually driving. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, Bayridge is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. This area is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because very few day-to-day needs can be carried out without having to resort to a vehicle. It is also very difficult to get around by bicycle in Bayridge since there are very few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of slopes.
Services
In most, if not all, cases, a car is needed to buy groceries. With regards to education, in Bayridge, parents and their schoolchildren will often be able to reach primary schools and daycares by walking. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of West Vancouver.
Character
There is a great variety of green spaces in Bayridge. There are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in and they are especially well-situated, resulting in them being easy to access from the majority of locations in Bayridge. It remains relatively serene in this part of West Vancouver, as there are very few pedestrians.
