Kerrisdale presents house buyers with several alternative means of transportation. With respect to food, both general and specialty grocery stores are usually accessible within a rather short walk from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. Additionally, this part of the city is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and there are also a few coffee shops in Kerrisdale.

The character of Kerrisdale is exemplified by its calm environment. This neighbourhood is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, it is very easy to get to green spaces since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out.
