Transportation
The preferred mode of transportation in Roche Point is very often driving. It is very convenient to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be difficult in Roche Point as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very convenient for walking as carrying out day-to-day needs is difficult. It is also challenging to travel by bike in Roche Point as the cycling network is quite bad, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes.
Services
There are no high schools and no primary schools in Roche Point. Furthermore, it can be difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of food, it is generally possible for property owners in Roche Point to do their grocery shopping by walking.
Character
Roche Point is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. Parks are very easy to get to since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in. This part of District of North Vancouver is also reasonably good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are usually quite tranquil.
