However, it is challenging to commute by bike in this area since the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Travelling by transit can be at times difficult in Grand Boulevard due to the low service level. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. On the other hand, the best mode of transportation in Grand Boulevard is usually a car. It is easy to park, and most properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway.

This neighbourhood is also fairly good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially close to Trans-Canada Highway.
