This part of the city will attract active people because it is reasonably suitable for walking; carrying out daily needs is easy on foot. Driving is usually the preferred transportation option in Downtown. It is a very short drive to the closest highway from any home in this part of the city, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in Downtown is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.

House buyers in Downtown will be pleased to learn that a grocery store is always only a rather short walk away. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner. It is also a rather short walk to a decent choice of clothing stores, for example on St. Thomas Street.
